Gaga returns home

Lady Gaga made a triumphant return to New York City on Friday night, launching her six-show residency at Madison Square Garden with The Mayhem Ball. It marked her first performance at the iconic venue in over a decade, following her last New York concert at MetLife Stadium in 2022.
For more than two hours, Gaga delivered a theatrical, rock-opera style performance that blended spectacle with intimacy. Her set spanned chart-topping hits, B-sides, and new tracks from her March album Mayhem.
The show opened with 'Abracadabra' and featured crowd-stirring renditions of 'Killah' and 'Garden of Eden,' while long-time fans were treated to rare performances of Artpop favourites 'Aura' and 'Applause.'
An emotional highlight came when Gaga sat at the piano for 'Hair,' dedicating the song to her hometown: "New York, you made me a star, you raised me."
