Farida Parveen remains in ICU
Renowned Lalon singer Farida Parveen continues to receive treatment in the ICU at Universal Medical College Hospital in Dhaka.
The internationally acclaimed artist was admitted on 1 February due to multiple health complications, and doctors placed her under intensive care from the very first day, her family confirmed.
Earlier today, The Business Standard reached out to her husband, noted flutist Gazi Abdul Hakim, who stated that although she remains in the ICU, her condition has slightly improved.

"She is doing better than before, and doctors expect further improvement within the next two to three days. We are hopeful. Please keep her in your prayers," he said.
Farida Parveen has been battling diabetes, high blood pressure, and thyroid issues. Fans and well-wishers continue to pray for her speedy recovery.
