Eminem's documentary Stans shines a spotlight on fans
Eminem returns to the big screen this week as the producer of 'Stans', a powerful new documentary exploring his life and career through the eyes of his most devoted fans. Directed by Steven Leckart and produced by Eminem, Paul Rosenberg, and Antoine Fuqua, the film features 20 fans from around the world who reveal how the rapper's music profoundly shaped their lives.
Drawing from over 9,000 social media submissions, the film blends emotional fan stories with rare archival footage and candid interviews, including Eminem himself. Celebrities like Dr. Dre, Ed Sheeran, Dido, and LL COOL J also appear.
A standout moment includes Zolt Shady, a French fan who closely resembles Eminem and is the only featured fan to meet him. Stans premiered in New York on 6 August and opens across AMC cinemas this week. Worldwide distribution is being handled by Trafalgar, with further announcements expected soon.
