Cultural ministry to honour Sabina Yasmin for her timeless contributions to Bangladeshi music

Cultural Affairs Ministry will accord an honour to renowned singer Sabina Yasmin this evening (7 September) in recognition of her timeless contributions to Bangladeshi music.
The programme will be held at 7pm at the Jatiya Nattyashala auditorium of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy today.
The singer will also join a solo musical programme there.
Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki will deliver the welcome speech at the function, according to a press release issued by the ministry.
Planning Adviser Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud will honour the artist.
Cabinet Secretary Dr Sheikh Abdur Rashid and Cultural Secretary M Mafidur Rahman will also be present at the event, while noted actor Afzal Hossain will moderate the programme.
