Chirkutt's song featured in Fifa World Cup reel

FIFA World Cup recently posted a reel with shots of emotional moments from football matches, using the song, 'Jadur Shohor' by Bangladeshi band Chirkutt.

The reel currently sits at 256,000 views on Instagram and around 55,000 likes on Facebook. It has especially become popular among viewers in Bangladesh. Upon hearing the news of their song being used by the global platform, Chirkutt also expressed their excitement.

The band shared the reel on their Facebook page commenting, "Thank you FIFA World Cup for using our song for your reel! We are surprised, overwhelmed and honoured!"

The song was released in their second studio album, 'Jadur Shohor' in 2013. It was originally produced by Pavel Areen with its lyrics written by Ananda and Sumi.
