Charli XCX paints the BRITs Brat Green

Charli XCX dominated the BRIT Awards on 1 March, turning the ceremony into a "Brat" celebration by winning four major awards—album of the year, song of the year, dance act, and artist of the year. She also received the honourary songwriter of the year prize, while Brat's executive producer, A G Cook, was named producer of the year.

Accepting her album of the year award, Charli reflected on her journey saying, "I always felt like an outsider in the British music industry, so it feels nice to be recognised on this album when I actually haven't made any sacrifices."

Brat, one of 2024's standout records, topped the UK charts and landed at No 3 on the Billboard 200.

The night also saw Chappell Roan win big in the international categories, while Sabrina Carpenter kicked off the show with a medley before collecting the global success award.
