Angelina Jolie has shared a powerful message on Instagram stories, highlighting the humanitarian crisis in Syria just days after finalising her eight-year divorce from Brad Pitt.

In an emotional Instagram Story, Jolie drew attention to the plight of over 17 million Syrians in need, citing years of conflict and economic hardship. "Critical needs remain unmet despite hopes of a fresh start," she wrote, amplifying the efforts of the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), an organisation she has long supported.

Known for her tireless advocacy, Jolie has worked globally as a UNHCR Special Envoy, focusing on refugees and women's rights.

The message comes as Jolie finds closure in her divorce but continues to face ongoing legal battles over a shared winery. "Angelina is exhausted but relieved this part is over," her lawyer noted. Despite personal struggles, Jolie remains steadfast in her humanitarian mission.
