Two Rohingyas killed in 'gunfight' in Teknaf
They were trying to enter Bangladesh from Myanmar with a large shipment of yaba

Two Rohingyas have been killed in a gunfight with the members of Border Guards Bangladesh (BGB) in Teknaf's Hnila area.
The incident occurred in the bank of Naf river on Thursday midnight.
The BGB officials said the deceased were trying to enter Bangladesh from Myanmar with a large shipment of yaba.
"The members of Teknaf-2 BGB battalion found two Rohingyas got down from a boat from Myanmar in the river Naf. When the BGB members asked them to stop the miscreants fired at them from the boat. The BGB members fired in retaliation," said Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Faisal Hasan, captain of Teknaf BGB-2.
"We found the two Rohingyas with bullet wounds later and they were declared dead when taken to Upazila Sadar Hospital," he added.
According to him, 70,000 pieces of yaba, a long gun, bullets, and sharp weapons were recovered from the spot.
Three BGB members were also wounded in the incident.
