Another doctor dies from Covid-19 in Dhaka

Another doctor has died of Covid-19 in the capital's Kurmitola General Hospital today.

"Dr Firoza Banu breathed her last at around 6 am in Kurmitola General Hospital," confirmed Dr Rahat Anwer Choudhury, joint secretary of the Foundation for doctor's safety, rights and responsibilities.

The deceased Dr Firoza Banu Minu is from Rajshahi Medical College's batch-14.

Her husband Dr Md Shafiqur Rahman, a consultant at Al Noor Eye Hospital, Dhaka and also a member of OSB is admitted in Kurmitola General Hospital after infecting with the novel Covid-19.

So far 51 doctors died from Covid-19 across the country.
