Difficult to say whether pandemic reached its peak in Bangladesh or not: Chinese experts
They found that the situation in Bangladesh is totally different compared to China, and suggested ways that suit the circumstances here
The team of Chinese medical experts visiting Bangladesh will submit four reports containing recommendations on how Bangladesh can better deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The reports will be handed over to the health ministry through the Chinese embassy in Dhaka within a week as the team leaves on Monday.
Minister Counsellor and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Chinese embassy in Dhaka Hualong Yan came up with the information during a Zoom briefing with members of the Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB) on Sunday.

Earlier, Dr Shuming Xianyu made a presentation on the medical team's work.
At the beginning of the briefing, DCAB President Angur Nahar Monty delivered her speech.
Responding to a question, Yan, who accompanied the team during all the meetings, said it is difficult to say whether the pandemic has reached its peak in Bangladesh or not.
He said researchers can only say how long the virus will exist in the world.
"Cooperation is very important bilaterally and multilaterally," said the diplomat, adding that one country alone cannot solve the problem.
He said the team found that the situation in Bangladesh is totally different compared to China, and suggested ways that suit the circumstances here.
The team identified lack of public awareness as one of the key problems. They also highly appreciated Bangladesh's health workers, describing them as very hard-working.
The 10-member team of experts, who have a firsthand experience in containing the virus and treating patients with remarkable success, came to Bangladesh with a bunch of medical equipment.
The Chinese embassy in Dhaka said it shows one of the reflections of President Xi Jinping's assurance of reality.
The team was organised by China's National Health Commission and consists of 10 respiratory physicians selected by the Hainan Provincial Health Commission, according to officials at the Chinese embassy in Dhaka.
During their two-week stay in Bangladesh, the experts visited designated hospitals, quarantine centres and testing centres. They discussed the pandemic with their Bangladeshi counterparts, and made calibrated propositions for containment and treatment.
