Batman to be featured on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced that Batman will be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday, 26 September, becoming the first superhero to receive this distinction.
The 2,790th star will be placed next to the stars of Adam West, who portrayed Batman on television, and Bob Kane, the co-creator of the Dark Knight.
Batman holds several Guinness World Records, including for the longest-running comic book series with "Detective Comics," which has been continuously published since 1938.
