Genex Infosys PLC, a leading technology service provider and the first listed company in the ITeS sector, has won bronze prize at the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) Award for the best presented Annual Report 2023. 

The award was presented on 10 September at a celebratory event held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka, reads a press release

Genex Infosys PLC was honoured with the award of bronze in the Communication and IT category, marking the first time the company has received this distinguished recognition. The award underscores Genex's commitment to transparency and effective communication in our annual reporting.

This accolade is part of the 24th edition of the ICAB National Awards, organized by the Association of Professional Accountants. The awards are based on a rigorous evaluation by the Review Committee of the 'Published Accounts and Reports' of ICAB, along with recommendations from the Jury Board.

The event was graced by Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed as the chief guest and Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder, secretary of Finance Division; Md Selim Uddin, secretary of Ministry of Commerce; Md Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA, secretary of Internal Resources Division and the NBR chairman as special guests. 

The event also saw the participation of prominent members from the accounting and business community.

Shah Jalal Uddin, CEO and managing director of Genex Infosys PLC, expressed his pride in the company's achievement, stating, "Receiving the Bronze Award of best annual report 2023 at the ICAB National Awards is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence in communication and transparency. This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire Genex team, and it motivates us to continue upholding the highest standards in our annual reporting and beyond."

The national award highlights the company's dedication to presenting comprehensive, clear, and insightful financial information to stakeholders, setting a benchmark in the industry.
