25 districts get new DCs
The interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in 25 districts, including Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh and Kushtia.
The Ministry of Public Administration announced the decision today (9 September) through a notification from its Field Administration-2 branch.
The notification stated that the order, issued in the public interest, will be effective immediately.
