On May 6, four people were tested positive to the virus. Now they have tested negative

No Covid-19 patients in Rangamati

Four infected people in Rangamati have been tested for Covid-19 for the second time, and this time the test result was negative.  

Now there are no Covid-19 patients in the district, confirmed Dr Mohammad Mostofa Kamal, representative of the civil surgeon's office and in-charge of the coronavirus control room of the district. 

Earlier on May 6, four people tested positive to the virus for the first time in the district.

Samples of the infected people were collected on April 28 and 29. The patients had gone to the Rangamati General Hospital with symptoms like fever and shortness of breath.  

Meanwhile, samples of people who were in contact with the four infected ones were sent to Chattogram. The report is yet to be delivered. 

Two of the four infected people were from the Sadar Hospital area while one was from Debashish Nagar and the other one was from the Reserve Bazar area.
