MAX Group donates Tk3 crore to PM’s relief and welfare fund

MAX Group, one of the largest Engineering Companies of Bangladesh, has donated three crore to taka to the Prime Minister's relief and welfare fund to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the country.

Employees of all stages of the company have contributed in the humanitarian initiative.

Chairman of MAX Group Engr Ghulam Mohammed Alomgir along with the company's director Kaniz Fatema handed over the donation cheque at an event organized by the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday, said a press release by the company.

Engr Alomgir said that presently the country is going through a tough battle against Covid-19 pandemic and that the company would always be ready to help in the fight.

He further added: "We are continuously supporting the helpless segment of society. Besides, we are working relentlessly to ensure the well-being of our employees including the foreign workers. We sincerely hope that very soon we will overcome this catastrophe under the solid leadership of honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, MP."
