Be smart with appliances

In our daily life, we wish to maximize the functionality of our home and home appliances have become important to keep up with our busy lives. Sustained economic growth has made Bangladeshi consumers more affluent. Almost every household in all major cities of the country is dependent on a wide range of home appliances. No matter your lifestyle, you can get the most out of your home with these incredible and extremely convenient home appliances. You've bought your first home, and now all you have to do is fill it. Before you go shopping, make a list of the things your home needs, and prioritize the list to focus on the items and rooms you will use most. We've picked out 12 great appliances that deserve a space in your house so you can continue to make sure you're living a perfect life at home.

Kitchen appliances

Microwave: From reheating food to cooking full meals, microwaves are one of the most user-friendly and convenient appliances you can own. They can cook food much faster than a conventional oven. Microwaves can differ quite a bit when it comes to size, functionality and price, so it's best to do your research before you shop.

Refrigerator: Definitely one of the most important items in your home, a refrigerator is an essential appliance. If your new home doesn't come with a fridge, put this item at the top of your list. You'll have little use for the rest of your kitchen appliances without a place to store the groceries.

Kettle: As well as providing the means to create a nice hot cup of tea or coffee, kettles are also an incredibly convenient appliance to have if you are quite time-poor. If you are cooking dinner, for instance, you can quickly boil water to cook your veggies in rather than waiting for them to heat up on the stove.

Coffeemaker: A countertop essential, a coffeemaker is sure to help you start your day out right. Just don't forget to buy the coffee.

Toaster: Save some counter space for a toaster—they're useful for more than just toast. Toaster sizes vary, so be sure to get one big enough for your needs. Toaster ovens are a great option when you don't have room for a full-size oven.

Blender: Whether you're a fan of smoothies, milkshakes, or margaritas, a blender is a versatile and valuable addition for your new kitchen.

Home appliances

Vacuum cleaner: Probably the most important of the smaller appliances, a vacuum cleaner will help you keep your house clean. Make sure the vacuum you purchase can handle whatever type of flooring is in your home.

Iron: Having an iron at home is not really a luxury. After all, dressing sharp is half the battle won. Fortunately, there are several varieties to choose from according to your requirement and budget. Look out for one that is lightweight, has a non-stick soleplate, which helps in easy and smooth ironing.

Washing machine: Next up, you're probably going to invest in a washing machine. Handwashing everything you own is not a fun experience and can prove especially difficult when it comes to washing bedding or towels. Of course, you can always use a laundromat until you can afford one, but this can often be incredibly inconvenient and can also start to add up financially.

Water purifier: Nobody wants to compromise on pure drinking water. With a marked increase in pollution and environmental degradation, tap water is far from safe while boiling water multiple times a day isn't the most practical option. However, all you have to do is allow a water purifier to come to your rescue which is extremely simple to use.

Fan: Given the weather in our country, no household is complete without fans that are super effective. While this may seem like no big deal, take the time to pick one that works smoothly, and more importantly, quietly. Nowadays fans come in various colors and finishes, so you can choose one that matches your aesthetics and the décor of your home.

Water heater: When it is winter we need warm water for every purpose and water heater is the solution. But, we see major problems with the water heater within a year, because we don't research well or consider the kind of water heater required for our home. Before buying a water heater, it is good to have an idea of the estimated annual operating cost and maintenance. Compare different water heaters as per quality, budget, and features to select the best one.
