Professor Kamaluddin Ahmad conveyed heartfelt condolences and expressed sorrow on behalf of the university over the passing of Professor Imdadul Haque.

The body of the vice-chancellor will be taken to the university campus at 10am, with funeral proceedings scheduled for 11am at the University's Central Jame Masjid.

The late Vice-Chancellor had been diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of September and travelled to Singapore for advanced treatment on 12 September. After undergoing radiotherapy, he returned to Bangladesh a month later on 12 October, as his health condition showed signs of improvement.
