ICB Capital Management Limited (ICML), a subsidiary of the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB), the sole government investment institution in the capital market, announced the opening of its Faridpur branch today. 

In line with its commitment to extending investment-related services to every corner of the country, ICML, a leading merchant bank in Bangladesh, has established its 9th branch in the heart of Faridpur city. The branch is located on the 3rd floor of the Dream Shopping Complex, Golpukur, Mujib Road, Faridpur, and is well-positioned to cater to the esteemed investors of the greater Faridpur region. 

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Md. Kismatul Ahsan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICB, who attended as the chief guest. Also in attendance was Md. Abul Hossain, the Managing Director of ICB and Chairman of ICML, who joined as the special guest. The inaugural function was presided over by Mazeda Khatun, the Chief Executive Officer of ICML. Additionally, members of the board of directors of ICML, namely, Md. Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, Md. Fauzia Haque, FCA, Md. Amjad Hossain, and Razi Uddin Ahmed, graced the event.The ceremony was further honoured by the presence of Md. Kamrul Ahsan Talukdar PAA, the District Commissioner of Faridpur, Mohammad Emdad Hussain, Additional Superintendent of Police, Faridpur, Md. Salauddin, Additional Superintendent of Police, Faridpur, Abdur Razzaque Molla, Chairman, Upazilla Parishad, Faridpur Sadar and Md. Habibur Rahman, President, Press Club, Faridpur.

This event was also attended by the investors, local dignitaries from Faridpur, General Managers of ICB, officials from ICML and representatives from local print and online media outlets. ICML's Faridpur branch aims to provide a comprehensive range of merchant banking services, bringing them directly to the doorstep of the residents of Faridpur. The speakers at the event expressed their optimism about the positive impact this branch will have on the local investment landscape.
