Video of injured stray dog seeking help goes viral

A video of an injured stray dog in Istanbul, Turkey, has gone viral and made thousands of people smile.

Senin o kimden yardım isteyeceğini bilen aklına,güzelliğine,usluluğuna kurban olurum.patisi kanamış,eczaneye girip patisini uzattı,yarasını gösterdi bana. pic.twitter.com/MUYE9yFM6j— Badores (@badores) 20 June 2019

The dog, according to The Dodo, entered a pharmacy owned by Banu Cengiz and stood patiently by the door. Being an animal lover, Banu set up beds inside the pharmacy for stray dogs. However, this one particular dog did not enter the pharmacy to use the beds - but to seek treatment from the dispensary.

“She was looking at me,” Banu told The Dodo. “I said, ‘Baby, is there a problem?’”

In the video shared by Banu herself showed her cleaning the dog’s wound with antiseptic and giving her antibiotics with extreme care and love.

Security footage from the pharmacy revealed that the dog was clearly injured, bleeding from a cut on her paw. The footage further showed that she was standing by the doorway, seeking help that Banu soon provided.

İstanbul’da patisi yaralanan sokak köpeği, gittiği eczanede yardım istedi. “When I was done, she laid down as if to thank me,” Banu said. “She was saying, 'I trust you.’”

After receiving treatment, the dog rested on one of the beds in the pharmacy.

In the meantime, the heartwarming video had started to go viral online - gathering over a hundred thousand likes.

Netizens have praised Banu’s act of kindness in helping out an injured, stray dog.
