Chattogram's Hathazari going under lockdown tomorrow

Hathazari upazila in Chattogram will be locked down from tomorrow morning to check the spread of the novel coronavirus in the area.

A notice, undersigned by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ruhul Amin, was issued in this regard on Sunday afternoon, saying that the local administration will place the upazila under lockdown considering the safety and wellbeing of the people. 

During the lockdown, nobody will be allowed to enter or leave the upazila while inter-upazila movements will be strictly limited although emergency services will continue.

Earlier, Satkania, Lohagara and Banskhali upazilas of southern Chattogram also announced to go under lockdown.
