One held with firearms, ammo in C'nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested one person with a foreign pistol, a magazine and four bullets from Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj yesterday (24 August) night.
The arrested person was identified as Abdullah Pranto, 21, of Bonainagar Faridpur village under Faridpur upazila in Pabna district.
BGB said, acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of BGB from the Sonamasjid border outpost conducted a raid in the Koilabari truck stand area under the Shahbajpur union of Shibganj upazila on Thursday and arrested Abdullah with the arms and ammunition.
