Actor Disha Patani has recently said that she is open to do South Indian films, if offered a good script.

The 27-year old actor started her career from regional films. She debuted in 2015 with the South Indian film "Loafer." She entered Bollywood with the sports biopic "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story."

She will next be seen in 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' where she will be reuniting with her 'Bharat' co-star Salman Khan. The movie will also feature Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles. The film will be directed by Prabhudheva and was slated for an Eid release. However, the novel coronavirus pandemic has halted production of all films as well as theatrical release. It is likely that Disha's next film will be pushed back to a later date.

For the past few years, Bollywood actors are frequently collaborating with regional Indian film actors and directors. For the record, Actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the Kannada language film "KGF: Chapter 2."

Madhuri Dixit-Nene is doing a slice-of-life Marathi film about a woman's journey of self-realisation — the language, however, isn't a barrier for her, as Marathi is her mother tongue. While announcing the film, Madhuri said that she was happy to see the evolution of Marathi cinema and had been waiting for the right project to make her debut.

The multilingual sci-fi thriller 2.0, directed by Tamil filmmaker Shankar, also stars Bollywood bigwig Akshay Kumar
