OnePlus 8 Pro to hit the market this month

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship devices under the brand-new OnePlus 8 series in the coming month.

The leaked renders of the OnePlus 8 Pro reveal that the smartphone looks similar to the OnePlus 7T Pro. The camera layout, including the left-of-centre ToF sensor, is similar to the 7T Pro. A leaked image of the phone reveals that the upcoming phone will have a punch-hole cutout design that will house the front selfie camera. OnePlus 8 Pro could be the first IP-certified smartphone from OnePlus.

The new series is currently rumoured to come with a 64MP primary camera with a quad-camera set up. However, we can also expect that it might come with Samsung's new 108MP sensor as a primary lens as it is currently the latest technology available in the market. The hole punch design of the phone will house the front camera.

Additionally, the phone will also come with a dedicated MEMC chip, which stands for Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation that is available on televisions. The technology inserts new frames between existing ones in a video to decrease motion blur. As a result, the users will now get much better gaming experience.
The OnePlus 8 Pro will feature the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset which makes the device 5G-ready. The smartphone will have a minimum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will run on Android 10.0 based OxygenOS 10.0 OS.

Rumours suggest that the OnePlus could finally offer wireless charging with the 8 series. The phone maker is a member of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) now, so it is likely of One Plus to offer wireless charging on its upcoming smartphone. The smartphone will have a Non-removable Li-Po 4510 mAh battery with a Fast battery charging support of 30W.

The phone will cost approximately $700 or Tk61,000
