Girl dies in coronavirus isolation in Jashore
IEDCR declined the possibility of the presence of coronavirus upon hearing the symptoms of the girl

A 12-year-old girl has died at the institutional quarantine unit of isolation ward at Jashore General Hospital this morning.
The resident doctor of Jashore General Hospital Arif Ahmed said, "The girl was taken to the hospital at 4.30 pm on Sunday. We kept her in the isolation unit after seeing coronavirus symptoms. IEDCR was supposed to collect her samples today, but she died on 6.30am today."
Gautam Acharya, head of the coronavirus related physician committee of the hospital, said, "We admitted her on suspicion of having coronavirus. We were in contact with IEDCR about this case."
Assistant director of Jashore General Hospital Harun Ur Rashid said, "IEDCR declined the possibility of the presence of coronavirus upon hearing the symptoms of the girl. They told us to hand over the body to the family. We are taking necessary measures accordingly."
