Death toll from Pakistan boat capsize jumps to 51: Police

The death toll from a boating accident in Pakistan over the weekend has risen to 51, police said Tuesday, after a vessel overloaded with children capsized in the water.

Bodies pulled from the waters of Tanda Dam lake since Sunday include 49 madrassa students, one teacher and one skipper, local police spokesperson Fazal Naeem told AFP.
