Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has brought outsiders from different districts to create sabotage during Dhaka city corporation elections, alleged 14 Party Alliance representatives today.

Eleven representatives of the 14 Party Alliance, led by Dilip Barua, raised the allegations before the Election Commission during a meeting at its office in capital's Agargaon.

They also requested the election commission to strengthen the security measures during the city election.

"BNP doesn't want to win the election. Their main goal is to make the election controversial," Dilip Barua said.

Hoping that more voters will participate in the election, Barua said that the voting will be held in free, fair and festive manner.
