United Hospital inaugurates Gastro Liver Centre

United Hospital launched a Gastro Liver Centre which offers comprehensive gastro liver services in treating complications of gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic disorders.

This centre will primarily focus on gastrointestinal, liver and pancreatic patients assessing their disease condition, severity, treatment progress and quality of life, reads a press release.

Dedicated doctors, nurses and patient counselors will work at this Centre in United Hospital where both out-patient and in-patient can take services.

Mohammad Faizur Rahman, managing director and CEO of United Hospital inaugurated the Gastro Liver Centre, where Director of Medical Services in United Hospital Dr Mahbub Uddin Ahmed, Pioneer Therapeutic and Interventional Gastroenterologist Prof Dr AQM Mohsen, Director of the Gastro Liver Centre Dr Mohammed Mahbub Alam, senior consultant and other physicians, nurses and higher officials were present.

Prof Dr AQM Mohsen, director of Gastro Liver Centre hopes that Gastro Liver Centre of United Hospital will provide modern and technologically advanced treatment in near future and it will be the centre of excellence and tertiary referral centre in the country and neighboring states.

Gastro Liver Centre of United Hospital offers modern and latest technologies including state of the Art High Resolution Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Pediatric Endoscopy and Colonoscopy for Children, EVL, APC, Polypectomy, Enteroscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, ERCP, etc.

United Hospital Gastro Liver Centre being the largest treatment facility in the country's private sector, has a large number of patients attending every day.
