‘Freedom fighters’ names to be removed from list of Razakars’

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today said the names of the freedom fighters will be removed from the list of the Razakars.

The minister also said the freedom fighters, whose names were included in the list mistakenly, need not to apply for removal of their names, Somoy TV reports.

On December 15, the ministry published the names of 10,789 Razakars who had collaborated with the Pakistani occupation forces during the 1971 Liberation War and committed crimes against humanity.
