KSRM launches Award for future architects

KSRM Steel Plant Limited, one of the country's leading steel manufacturing companies has launched an award for the future architects titled 'KSRM Awards for future architects: Best undergraduate thesis.' 

KSRM and Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the next 10-year in a program at IAB centre in Dhaka on Sunday, December 8.

The MoU was signed by KSRM deputy managing director Sarwar Jahan and IAB president architect Jalal Ahmed; while KSRM deputy managing director Shahriar Jahan Rahat, head of brand Moniruzzaman Reyadh, senior officer Abu Sufian Sohag and program coordinator architect Arefin Ibrahim were present among others, said a press release on Sunday.

Under this project the best thesis paper of final year undergraduate students from IAB recognized universities will be recognized. The teachers and the institution also will be recognized.  The best three thesis papers would be submitted from each university.

In this regard, Sarwar Jahan, Deputy Managing Director of KSRM said: "We always try to stand with talented students. Try to properly evaluate their talent and abilities. In that continuation, we have signed a MoU with the IAB. This is an effort to bring out the best talent of architecture."
