Summit Power approves 35 percent cash dividend

The Summit Power Limited has approved 35 percent cash dividend to its shareholders for 2018-19 fiscal year.

The announcement came at the company's 22nd annual general meeting held in Dhaka on Sunday, says a press release. 

Muhammed Aziz Khan, chairman of the company, presided over the programme.

"The company had distributed 30 percent dividend among its shareholders in the last two consecutive years," he said.

Summit Power Limited is the leading independent power producer in the country, and a publicly listed AAA rated company. It has received five consecutive the 'Best Power Plant' awards since 2013. 

The company is listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange.
