Budget FY2021-22: Prices up, prices down

A number of products' available in the market are all set to witness both rise and fall in prices following the implementation of the Tk 6,03,681 crore proposed national budget for the 2021-22 financial year.
The biggest budget in the history of the country, presented in the parliament on Thursday by the Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal, is aimed at strengthening economic activities and growth of the pandemic-hit economy.
In the 13th budget of the incumbent government, income tax, duty, VAT, advance tax or supplementary duty have been increased for some products, while for some they were waived.

Price to reduce for Products:

2. Medical devices
3. Local LPG cylinder
4. Puffed rice
5. Fresh fruit
6. Agricultural machines
7. Microbus
8. Hybrid cars
9. Led lights
10. Cancer medicine
11. Local poultry items
12. Sanitary napkin (locally produced) and its raw products
