Guardian Life signs strategic partnership agreement with Robi Axiata ltd

Guardian Life Insurance Limited (GLIL) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Robi Axiata Limited via a virtual press meet.

Under this agreement Robi Axiata will be offering GLIL's Easylife insurance products to the customers digitally through Rstore, Robishop and any other channels as available, said a press release issued on Monday.

Shovan Chakraborty, Vice President; Riadul Hasan Razib, General Manager, Digital Commerce and Alternate Channels; Rahimul Anam, Manager, Digital Commerce and Alternate Channels and Tariq Shafat, Manager, Digital Commerce and Alternate Channels from Robi Axiata Limited and from Guardian Life Shamim Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer; Rubayat Saleheen, Head of Marketing & Communication; Yeasin Arafat, Head of Digital Channel & ADC; Shariar Akanda, Key Lead, ADC and Ariful Hoque, Assistant Vice President, Digital Channel & ADC were present in the virtual press meet.

Initially, Guardian Life will offer an agent based micro savings life insurance service through Robi Axiata platforms, which will not only encourage individuals to save money, but also ensures safety of themselves along with their families.

Initially, Guardian Life will offer four monthly savings plans (MSP) of monthly premiums BDT 200, 300, 400 and 500 respectively, the release said.

The dedicated agents will be providing insurance service to the customers on a retail basis through 7000+ R-Stores.

Only by the joint venture of these two distinguished companies, it is being possible to provide insurance services from a telco retail channel, which will be the first of its kind in Bangladesh, the release added.
