Dhaka feminists show support for Palestine

This mural was painted to express unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian people and all those who are oppressed and marginalised there, and in our country.

On the walking path at the corner of the road 32 bridge by the Dhanmondi Lake, a mural on the wall speaks a story of solidarity.

From Chimbuk to Sheikh Jarrah, the people are living in a similar horrible reality. The struggles of the Palestinian people can be related to many of the human rights issues that are gripping the nation at this point in time, particularly that of the perpetuation of settler colonialism and state-sanctioned oppression.

There is a signature under the mural that says "bandit feminists". The group has chosen to remain anonymous because they would like the focus to be on the message within the mural itself.
