Meteorological Department of Bangladesh on Thursday forecast that there is a possibility of Nor'wester at some places in the evening. 

In Dhaka, West/Northwesterly wind has been blowing at (08-16) kph with temporary gusting to (40-50) kph.

The forecast states, rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Khulna, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions.

According to the synoptic situation, a trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

The day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, says the forecast.

In the last 24 hours, 61 mm highest rainfall has been recorded in Rajshahi. The highest temperature yesterday was 35.6 degrees in Rangamati and the lowest was 20.6 degrees in Telulia.
