Captain Masuk Hasan dies of Covid-19
Captain Masuk retired recently as the Principal of the Marine Fisheries Academy in Chattogram
Captain Masuk Hasan has died of Covid-19 just 24 days after his mother passed away.
He breathed his last around 4 pm on Wednesday at the capital's Combined Military Hospital (CMH), where he was admitted four days ago after contracting Covid-19.
Wahida Masuk, wife of Captain Masuk Hassan Rony, confirmed the matter on Wednesday evening.

Captain Masuk, hailing from Mozaffarpur village in Netrakona's Kendua upazila, retired recently as the Principal of the Marine Fisheries Academy in Chattogram.
State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, District Council Chairman Prashant Kumar Roy, Kendua Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Nurul Islam, Kendua Upazila Awami League and Kendua Press Club President Abdul Qadir Bhuiyan, Mozaffarpur Union Parishad Chairman Noor Alam Md Jahangir Chowdhury mourned his deah.
Earlier on 22 March, Captain Masuk's mother, educationist Hamida Akter, died due to old age.
