Sachin Tendulkar tests positive for Covid-19

Legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday took to Twitter to confirm that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
"I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I've tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative," Tendulkar tweeted.
"I've quarantined myself at home and following all necessary protocols," Sachin said.

Recently, Sachin Tendulkar returned to the cricket field as he led the India Legends side in the Road Safety World Series, which saw the return of a number of retired cricket stars like Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Kaif.
India Legends defeated Sri Lanka Legends in the final on 21 March.
Road Safety WorldSeries is T20 League aiming to change people's mindset towards their behaviour on the roads and also to create awareness about road safety.
Earlier, Sachin posted an Instagram video that showcases him playing a prank on a healthcare worker during a routine Covid-19 test.
"I've played 200 Tests and 277 COVID Tests!" Tendulkar wittily wrote while sharing the video. "A little prank to lighten the mood. Kudos to our medical staff here for helping us to play for a cause!" he added. The post is complete with the hashtag #RoadSafetyWorldSeries.
