The purpose of this campaign is to encourage people from all over the world to send good wishes for Bangladesh and to create a global connection with Bangladesh, the release added.

As a part of the campaign, West Indian cricketer Andre Russell, in a video message, said, "I have received a letter from Coca-Cola to mark the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh's independence. I also want to be a part of it myself. So I wish you a very happy fifty years of independence. Stay well Bangladesh."

Russell in his message highlighted his many visits to the country and said that he was fascinated by the enthusiasm of the people of Bangladesh and their love for cricket.

A visit to the official Facebook page of Coca-Cola Bangladesh shows a flood of greetings from around the world, including United States, France, Italy, Spain, Indonesia, Turkey, Ukraine, Tunisia, Nigeria, Colombia, Ghana, Panama and many others, the release said.
