Coca-Cola Bangladesh rolls out Ramadan food support and bazaar campaign
Coca-Cola Bangladesh Limited has launched two Ramadan initiatives – "Share A Meal; Iftar for All" and "Ramadan Bazaar" – combining humanitarian support with consumer engagement during the holy month.
Under the "Share A Meal; Iftar for All" initiative, nutritious iftar meals are being prepared and distributed to underprivileged people through the OBHIZATRIK Foundation's community kitchen. The programme began on 8 March at Mirpur 12 and will continue until 17 March.
According to the company, the initiative aims to help address food insecurity while ensuring dignified access to meals during Ramadan.
Alongside this, Coca-Cola Bangladesh has launched the "Ramadan Bazaar" in Dhaka at Chef's Table outlets from 8 March, creating a festive marketplace for families and shoppers during the holy month.
The bazaar has also expanded to Ananda Mohan College Field in Mymensingh from 12 March and Narayanganj Club in Narayanganj from 13 March. The events will continue until the end of Ramadan.
Coca-Cola Bangladesh said that purchases of every one-litre Coca-Cola bottle at the Ramadan Bazaar are helping sustain the "Iftar for All" meal distribution programme, allowing more underprivileged people to receive iftar meals during Ramadan.
Visitors to the Ramadan Bazaar can explore a wide range of stalls offering food, mehedi artistry, online boutique products, handicrafts, cosmetics, casual ornaments, terrariums and pet food.
The company said the initiative brings together convenience, culture and celebration under one roof, while also creating an opportunity for consumer participation to support people in need during Ramadan.
