Menon, Badsha reelected president, gen secy of Workers Party

Rashed Khan Menon and Fazle Hossain Badsha have been reelected president and general secretary respectively of Workers Party of Bangladesh.

A 91-member central committee of the party was announced today at the 10th national congress of the organization, said a press release.

The central committee comprises 62 central members and 28 alternative members.

A 15-member politburo and a three-member control commission headed by Sheikh Saidur Rahman were also announced in the last day of the 4-day congress.

The inaugural ceremony of the national congress was held on November 2 at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) auditorium here.

Leaders of different political parties and diplomats were present in the function.
