DSA dishonours the spirit of March 7, says Dr Zafrullah

Gonoshasthaya Kendra Founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury on Sunday said that the Digital Security Act has dishonoured the spirit of 7 March as Bangladesh approaches the 50th anniversary of independence.

Dr Zafrullah also said that in order restore democracy and the spirit of the liberation war, the young generation must revolt against this law and send it back to its grave.

Dr Zafrullah made the statement while speaking at a discussion titled 'Expectations and Achievements in 50 Years of Independence' organised by Bangladesh Chhatra Odhikar Parishad at Purana Paltan in the capital.

Zafrullah Chowdhury said, "Many things need to change, especially the judiciary and its spineless judges. Many laws need to be reformed; some laws need to be sent to the grave."
