'Sohosro Ek Rojoni' is based on the modern version of 'Arabian Nights'

Audiences will be able to enjoy popular Turkish series 'Sohosro Ek Rojoni' on digital streaming platform 'Bongo' as well as on private television channel Nagorik TV.

'Sohosro Ek Rojoni' stars 'Sultan Suleiman' actor Halit Ergenç and the series is based on the modern version of the ancient collection of Middle Eastern folk tales 'Arabian Nights,' said a press release.

The series revolves around the struggles of a widow named 'Sehrazat' as she tries her best to cure her sick child.

The characters in this drama series are so popular in some Latin American countries that many have named their children Sehrazat and Nur.

The series will be broadcasted in Bangla and will air 6 episodes every week. The series will be available on both Bongo and Nagorik TV on 1 March.
