Saifuddin looks to shine in pacer-friendly New Zealand
Saifuddin is considered an important part in the limited-overs teams for Bangladesh with his death-overs bowling and his batting ability as a lower-order player being key assets for the national team.
Not one or two, but seven pacers have been included in the squad for Bangladesh's tour of New Zealand.
With conditions set to favour the pacers more, places will be up for grabs and there will be competition among the fast bowlers, and Mohammad Saifuddin fully understands that he might not be a regular starter in the XI.
The pace-bowling all-rounder is ready to accept whatever decision the team management decides to take in accordance with the conditions on the given day.

With the seven pacers being Saifuddin, Taskin Ahmed, Al-Amin Hossain, Shoriful Islam, Hasan Mahmud, Mustafizur Rahman, and Rubel Hossain, only three are expected to make the starting XI.
Saifuddin is, however, hopeful that he will be able to make the starting XI: "I'm not thinking too much about whether I will be in the starting XI or not because what's best for the team combination will be done. But God willing, I'm hopeful of getting an opportunity there and giving my best when I get the chance."

With conditions set to suit him, the team management is hopeful of getting a good performance from him too.
"If you can bowl well and hit the right areas, you can do well in any condition and on any surface. Maintaining line and length is key for any bowler or else you will get punished so we have to do the basics well," Saifuddin told the media before the team left for New Zealand on Tuesday.
"Bowling is my main strength and I'm more serious about it. I've been practicing for the last few days in the academy and I've been able to get good preparation under my belt ahead of the series," the 24-year-old said.
