The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (Ecnec) today approved 10 development projects valued a total of Tk11,467 crore.

The approval came from an Ecnec meeting held in capital's NEC Conference Room with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Project in improving Nuclear Power Plant will be implemented at an estimated cost of Tk 1,710 crore.

Tk1,762 crore has been allocated for "Population and Housing Census 2021."

"Apart from these two projects, Ecnec also approved eight more projects," Planning Minister MA Mannan said in a briefing after the meeting.
