The BCB XI's batting ended in extreme despair in the three-day warm-up match against Windies XI. BCB XI led by Nurul Hasan Sohan could not even bat for two entire sessions. Their innings ended within three hours. After losing wickets in regular intervals, BCB XI was all out for 160 runs in 48.4 overs.

BCB XI started the day with 24 runs on the board without any wickets. But Saif Hassan went back to the dressing room in the very first over of the day. He could not add any run today. His opening partner, Shadman Islam, was the next to go. He bagged 22. Naim Sheikh fought for a while during his 45-run innings, but he got no real support from the other end. BCB XI lost 4 wickets in the first session.

Skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan tried to show some resilience, but he saw wickets keep falling from the other end. Sohan bagged 30 runs off 53 balls. The U-19 world cup winners - Akbar Ali, Towhid Hridoy, Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Shahadat Hossain Dipu - all failed to utilise their chances to grab the opportunity to showcase their talent.
