‘Attack on Titan’ manga ends in April 2021

The popular Attack on Titan manga will reach its epic conclusion this April after nearly 12 years of publication, Kodansha Comics announces.

The series was created by Hajime Isayama and debuted in September 2009 in the pages of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. It has been published in monthly installments ever since and has been collected in 32 volumes published by Kodansha Comics. It was adapted into a popular anime series that debuted in 2013.

Attack on Titan tells the story of a world besieged by giant human-eating beings called Titans. The manga and anime both center around Eren Yeager, who lives in what is believed to be the last human stronghold.

Bleeding Cool reports that the final chapter of Attack on Titan will be released in the May issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, which will be released on April 9. The 34th and final collected volume of the manga will be released on June 9. This year will also see an end to the popular Attack on Titan anime series based on the manga. The final season of Attack on Titan premiered on December 7 with an English dub premiere scheduled for January 10
