11 police officials promoted to DIGs

The government has promoted eleven police officials to the rank of deputy inspector general of police in the latest reshuffle of the police administration.
The ministry of public administration issued a gazette notification, signed by Mohammed Altaf Hossain, the ministry's deputy secretary, in this regard on Sunday.
The newly promoted police officials are Md Habibur Rahman, Md Ashrafuzzaman, SM Akhtaruzzaman, Amena Begum, Md Haidar Ali Khan, Md Monirul Islam, Md Azad Mia, Md Mahbubur Rahman Bhuiyan, Atika Islam, Ruhul Amin, and Basudeb Banik.
