Padma Bank has launched an internet banking solution called Padma Bank i-Banking – for its customers.

This unique digital platform will help users transfer funds as well as receive information about: accounts, cards, ATMs, branch locations, and various customer benefit programmes of the bank. The customers will also be able to transfer funds to bKash.

Md Ehsan Khasru, MD and CEO of the bank, launched the application at a ceremony held at its Gulshan head office on Thursday, read a press release.

A special feature titled "Pay Day Salary Click" has been introduced to i-Banking – just for the bank's employees. Through this, the employees of Padma Bank will be able to withdraw their salaries any day of the month.

The bank launched some attractive digital solutions during the first quarter 2020 – Padma Wallet (a mobile banking application), Padma Instant (allowing A/C opening in one minute) and Padma DG.

In the new year, 2021, the bank will introduce more modern and attractive services, including Bangla QR Code digital solutions, for its customers.

Deputy Managing Director Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury, Business Head Zabed Amin, Head of Human Resources Department and SEVP M Ahsan Ullah khan, Chief Financial Officer Md Shoriful Islam, and senior officials of various departments also attended the ceremony.
