Remittances from the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) countries contribute minimally to Bangladesh's total inflows; only $157.8 million – less than 1% of $30.3 billion in FY25 – originated from the region. The Maldives holds the largest share, accounting for 89% of Saarc remittances.
