Ashraful feels he is ready for the Bangabandhu T20 Cup

Mohammad Ashraful, who is all set to play for Minister Group Rajshahi in the upcoming Bangabandhu T20 Cup, reckons that experience is something that is invaluable irrespective of what the format is.

The veteran cricketer last played international cricket way back in 2013 and is desperate to make his way back into the national team. "I have prepared very well ahead of the tournament. I have undergone rigorous skill and fitness training in the last three days. Earlier, I played a few practice games in order to keep myself ready to play domestic cricket. I believe I am all set," said Ashraful.

Ashraful believes that Minister Group Rajshahi are a balanced unit with an excellent blend of youth and experience. "If you look at the squad, there are youngsters as well as experienced players. Experience counts, no matter what the format is. In T20 cricket, guys who are experienced are doing well all over the world. Obviously, we need some new blood as well which we have in abundance as well," he mentioned.
