Trust Bank launches Bangla QR payment for universal pension scheme
Trust Bank PLC has launched a Dynamic Bangla QR payment facility for government contributions under the Universal Pension Scheme, making payments more convenient and accessible.
According to a press release, the facility will allow individuals to make pension contributions through a secure, digital payment process.
Finance and Planning Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury attended the launch ceremony as the chief guest at Hotel Sheraton in Banani, Dhaka.

Trust Bank Vice Chairman and Bangladesh Army Adjutant General Major General Mohd Hossain Al Morshed; Bangladesh Bank Deputy Governor Dr Md Kabir Ahmed; National Pension Authority Executive Chairman Dr Md Suratuzzaman; and Trust Bank Managing Director and CEO Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury attended the event as invited guests.
Senior officials from Bangladesh Bank, the National Pension Authority, and Trust Bank, along with the bank's customers and partners, were also present.
Trust Bank said the initiative reflected its commitment to promoting financial inclusion, expanding digital payment services, and supporting the government's vision of an inclusive and digitally empowered financial system.
